The primary aim of this experiment is to verify Reynolds' experiment and to determine the different regimes of fluid flow in a pipe. By observing the behaviour of a dye filament under varying flow conditions, the experiment demonstrates the transition between laminar, transitional, and turbulent flow based on the Reynolds number. This concept is fundamental to the study of fluid mechanics and pipe flow analysis.
